Emily Bowers-Clark is a designer, pattern cutter and maker with experience across the industry. Emily graduated from University of Brighton with a First Class degree in Fashion design with Business studies and currently working as a pattern cutter (both flat and Lectra) at COS, specialising in ladies jersey.

Emily also works on private commission work under her own label; creating bespoke clothing from design through to the final garments.

Her interests lie in classic design and tailoring as well as architecture and nature. She draws upon these as well as her own photography, often from her travels, for inspiration. Her designs reflect this classicism, yet exude a modern and often structural aesthetic. She has a great interest in pattern cutting inspired by years of experience with friend and mentor Christopher Beales, enabling her to realise her designs into innovative yet wearable fashion.

Over the years she has gained experience in many areas of the industry. Her experience includes time at  COS, Bruce Oldfield, Alexander McQueen, Le Photographe, Timothy Everest and Chapman Burrell.
